The man scoffed at the nickname, shook his head, and said: No man should befriend a pig. And no man has the right to question my kills unless he would like to be next.
On this final sentence, he leaned in threateningly, and Freyr and Freyja took off running, back across the fields and away from the man.
This encounter stayed with Freyr, however. And in the end, it was the reason that he enchanted his battle weapon in the way that he did.
He wanted a weapon that would only serve the deserving. A weapon unwieldable by men like the pig killer but unbeatable in the hands of good-hearted people.
