Last night, I was sitting in a friend’s beautiful back garden enjoying a moment of solitude and quiet.
The friend was indoors, tidying up, and I was finishing off my drink.
In front of me, a fire crackled and spat peacefully, working down to embers. Around me, the sounds of a peaceful evening could be heard in the distance. (Leaves swaying in the gentle breeze, owls hooting way up in the trees, so on – it was a lovely moment.)
Then, the wind began to pick up – and rapidly so.
A pile of swept leaves flurried up and out across the entire garden and from the sky above, there came a blurred beam of cosmic light.
Blending shades of silver, navy and emerald cascaded down onto the patio just ahead of me, swirling into a vaguely elongated human shape on the other side of the fire.
Suddenly a booming male voice erupted, disembodied, directly into my mind. This creature of the stars was bypassing the external world to connect directly to me!
It said: You commune with an ancient ancestor of , Elissa. Heed me.
For many years, I have been watching and waiting. I have been searching for a worthy recipient.
