As we covered when I first introduced you to the Mystic Rites of the Partial Lunar Eclipse, there is a partial lunar eclipse event on October 28th
,
It’s on a Saturday, just like the annular solar eclipse! And ideally, the Rites I’m about to share with you – three in total – should be completed on or as close to that Saturday as possible.
We must seize the intuitive powers of the Moon when they are at their most accessible. Prepare for this, and ensure you’re not overloaded with tasks/other time commitments from around the 26th to the 30th.
With that warning given? Let’s begin…
(NOTE: Please complete these Rites in the order they have been listed, beginning with Submission and ending with Clarification.)
Your Rite of Submission
Wait for night to fall, then head outdoors to complete this Rite in darkness, basking in the glow and energy of the Moon. If you plan to speak the Rite using a paper prompt rather than from memory, bring a torch/booklight/phone with a torch function so you can see what you’re reading. Ensure your hands AND feet are bare to promote lunar-human flow and lie flat on the ground looking up to the night sky as you speak your Rite of Submission.
“Great lunar goddess resting far above, I show you all my adoration,
To ever live apart from your silver light would bring me total devastation,
Moon of this world and true center of mine, please know what you mean to me,
And know that if anyone recognizes your contribution to the Earth, it is me,
While you shine up there, I give myself entirely to your mystical powers,
And I ask you to provide intuition and revelation in dark, moonlit hours,
I’m ready to be guided, prepared to reach for conscious awareness of myself,
With your hand in mine, I know we can refresh my emotional health.”
Your Rite of Revelation
Continue to look up to the night sky, ideally directly at the Moon, for this Rite. Shift, however, from a fully reclined position to a sitting position with your head tilted back. And, as you begin to speak your Rite of Revelation, place both of your hands directly over your heart as if ready to catch all the things it will soon reveal.
“The potent energies of the lunar eclipse event,
Pave the way for deeply hidden wants to be known,
Great Moon, will you facilitate this on my behalf?
Without limits now, will you let these feelings show?
From my most instinctive, subconscious fears,
To the preferences I hide for the sake of ease,
Let us together pull back the curtain of revelation,
And let us see what is there to see,
I will not flinch in the pale moonlight,
I want the truths hidden on the dustiest shelves,
And if what I learn is unexpected,
I’m confident I can deal with that myself,
I just need you to get me there –
To pull those worries and desires to the fore,
And in this moment ripe for such exploration,
I genuinely don’t want anything more.”
Your Rite of Clarification
For this final Rite, rise to a standing position and lift your palms up to the sky, elongating your arms and back as much as you comfortably can. Open your eyes wide but look straight ahead, into the darkness of the evening and at your natural surroundings, rather than continuing to look up to the Moon. When you reach the second stanza of the Rite of Clarification, sink gently to your knees and continue, keeping your palms raised.
“I find my peace,
I find my center,
I find my breath,
I see what has been hidden,
And I look upon it boldly,
I find my peace,
I find my center,
I find my breath,
I know what I have learned,
I know what I did not before,
I find my peace,
I find my center,
I find my breath,
I know where I go next,
I know what must be done – and what must not,
I find my peace,
And at this moment, I hold it tight,
I find my center,
And at this moment, nothing can unbalance me,
I find my breath,
And in the moonlight, I am unbowed.”
Those were your Mystic Rites of the Partial Lunar Eclipse, . Each has its own purpose, as you can see. And each will be powered by the wonderful, magical Moon.
For whatever might come to the surface in completing these Rites, my advice is this: Give yourself ample time to process what you’ve learned before you rush into any decisions based on your revelations.
Depending on what crops up, you might need space to think before you share it with others.
But on the other hand: Don’t ignore what you’ve learned. Look at it head-on. Face it, and accept it, even if it arrived to you unexpectedly.
There’s no timeline on when this needs to be done, but it does need to be done. At least if you want to ensure that your fresh start remains fresh (positive and productive and unmarred by negativity deriving from dissatisfaction) for as long as possible.
You’ve got this, . I know you do. And I know the rest of your 2023 will shine as bright as the Sun and Moon do…
Your loving friend,
