But reduction is one thing, and certainty is another. Thanks to this Spell, you’ll soon possess the certainty that evil spirits can’t touch you during this moment of the year when ghostly activity is at its strongest.

You’ve learned a lot from your Revelatory Augury. We both want it to be all you have to focus on in the immediate future. And this way? It can be. So…

Here’s everything you need to do to complete the Dark Spirit Shield Spell, which will last for three months after completion (by which time ghostly activity will have dipped significantly):

1. Lay out a tarp or some form of plastic sheeting on the ground in your home to protect the flooring beneath it.
2. Cover that tarp/sheeting with a layer of white salt, making it at least 8×8 inches in size.
3. Trace through the salt with your finger, drawing a pentagram enclosed in a circle. It should look like this when it’s finished:

1. Kneel before the pentagram and speak the following activating phrase aloud: Protego. Custudio. Saepio. (This translates to “Protect. Guard. Surround.”)
2. Place your dominant palm flat against the center of the star, and continue: Pello. Propulso. Ablego. (This translates to “Drive. Push. Send away.”)
3. Lay your non-dominant palm over the first. Say: Solus amor manet. (This translates to “only love remains,” serving as an expression of what you’re aiming to do. What you’re working to drive out over the course of the Spell.)
4. In this position, with two palms on the pentagram, remain paused and peaceful for a period of at least two minutes. Count them out in your head if you need to do so, but don’t break the silence to speak.
5. When that time has elapsed, you’ll essentially loop the spell. You’ll first say: Solus amor manet. Then you’ll remove the top palm and say: Pello. Propulso. Ablego. Then you’ll remove the other palm and say: Protego. Custodio. Saepio.
6. Sit back, simply observing the pentagram, and allow for another two minutes of stillness and silence.
7. When that time has elapsed, sweep your dominant palm across the salt until the pentagram disappears.
8. Reiterate one final time, with your palms pressed together as if in prayer: Solus amor manet.

That will conclude the Dark Spirit Shield Spell, at which point:

1. You’ll be free to clean up the area, dispose of the salt and go about your day.
2. Your protection from any evil ghostly entities attempting to influence you will be cemented for months.
