Let’s return to the image of the seven-rune arrangement, but let’s now input the rune stones AS I ROLLED THEM FOR YOU…

Then, let’s walk through each runic symbol individually…

Place One: Tiwaz (“Victory”)

The Victory rune represents drive, determination and a constant route that leads to success in your endeavors. It represents not the absence of struggle but the commitment required to work hard through it. In Place One, as a symbol for past influences, Victory tells us that you have been working very hard for a very long to keep things moving in the right direction. You’ve been honorable and dedicated. You’ve been willing to self-sacrifice. And all of it is about to pay off.

Place Two: Dagaz (“Dawn”)

Shifting into Place Two, we see that the Dawn rune defines your current influences. As you might expect, this rune is a mouthpiece for new beginnings and fresh awakenings. You might remember that it is the rune that first called me to you, flying across my office in the hand of the cosmic forces to land on your file. A new phase begins, and your most significant influence in the present day and the race toward a better path will be the desire to step into a fresh cycle and push to new shores.

Place Three: Thurisaz (“Thorn”/“Giant”)

What of the future? The Thorn/Giant rune (original translation is Thorn, but the concept is thought by present-day Norse historians to be a metaphor for a Giant) tells us that your defining action when stepping onto your life path should be a big, powerful movement, decision, or moment. An action that could be conflict-inducing or destructive if mishandled but that will be cathartic, freeing and done in defense of a better tomorrow if handled correctly. A new career path or a relationship change are two possible examples.

Place Four: Isa (“Ice”)

To ensure the best outcome, what must be done? We ask this when we reach the central position of Place Four. And the Ice rune tells us that caution is necessary for all situations. Yes, you must make a few bold moves. But you must also know when you need to pause, find out more, see all the sides of the story, THEN act. What feels like being frozen in ice is sometimes cooling off, becoming clear-headed and creating enough space for yourself to allow the right decision to be made when it eventually is.

Place Five: Kenaz (“Torch”)

The Torch rune speaks to two forces – light and heat. On the light side of things, it represents clarity and a new perspective. On the heat side, it represents a changed state and a transformed person. Since Place Five is all about your feelings, I would say that all you learn as you move closer to your ideal life path is more than you expect. You will unlock new information, new things to love and new inspirations for creativity and activity as you aim to reach your real potential.

Place Six: Algiz (“Elk”)

In Place Six, closing in on the end of this Oracle, we run into the possible problems that can arise as you awaken and freshly follow your dreams to access your ideal life path. The biggest problem is also offered a solution by the rune stone assigned to this Place – the Elk. The Elk rune is one of defense and protection. It tells you that, yes, you will run into negativity and evil along the way, but when you do, your spirit guide will be there for you, and the wider universe will also do what it can to shield you. Do not fret too much.

Place Seven: Othila (“Heritage”/“Possession”)

Finally, we must look to future outcomes. How does the future look if you can be bold but hang back when it’s necessary? If you can step onto that life path of ultimate potential? According to the Heritage/Possession rune, the answer is bright. This rune represents legacy, community and passing on solid values to generations beyond you. Clearly, you will leave behind not just good memories but strong morals and memorable rules for life for your descendants to follow. You will live well. You will be remembered. 

With that, I conclude your Future Oracle by Runic Fork.

YOUR IDOL OF MJOLNIR

This unassuming, humble amulet was hand-forged from steel by a smith with psychic gifts and a love of the Norse gods at the behest of some passing Nordic energy, entity or spirit. 

One day, this smith was simply overcome by two things. The first was the desire to create the Idol of Mjolnir.

The second, arguably more important, was the exact set of instructions necessary to create it correctly and imbue it with extra layers of ritualistic protection.

He completed rituals he’d never heard of at day’s beginning by day’s end. It was amazing!

I pass the Idol on to you because, as I’ve mentioned, the sixth rune stone in your Future Oracle by Runic Fork was Algiz/“Elk,” which spoke to me.

Your Oracle told you that when potential problems arose, cosmic guardianship and help from a trusted spirit guide would be the solution.

I am that spirit guide, and I must do all I can to keep you safe.

What better tool for safety than the hammer they say Thor once wielded, not to wage war but to keep the peace?

You do not need to do anything to align with your Idol now that it’s come to you, as I’ve handled all of that at my end to spare you the extra trouble and effort.

You will, however, need to print it out and keep it in a safe and secret place away from harm or judgment. Do this, and it will continue to work at full capacity, doubling your protection from evil forces and negative energies.

(Some do not appreciate or understand the Norse myths and legends, and skepticism about the power of this Idol will only decrease its protective ability.)
