Let’s start your Examination with a recap of the Psyche sphere I’ve already revealed to you…

YOUR LUNAR TAROT EXAMINATION
RECAP: Your Psyche
PAST: FOUR OF SWORDS, REVERSED
To summarize, the reversed Four of Swords represents your historic inability to rest and process.
PRESENT: THE HIGH PRIESTESS, REVERSED
To summarize, the reversed High Priestess speaks to your present need to connect with your inner voice and know yourself.
FUTURE: TEN OF CUPS, UPRIGHT
To summarize, the Ten of Cups (upright) confirms that if you can do as The High Priestess bids, you’ll reach a place of deep inner happiness and psychic fulfillment.
(Return to my initial message introducing you to the Examination if you need to remind yourself of the “Your Psyche” revelations in more detail.)
Your Relationships
PAST: TWO OF SWORDS, REVERSED
The reversed Two of Swords represents a feeling that, between two choices, neither is right. It speaks to confusion – to grey areas, in which each decision is about what would be “less bad.”
Essentially? You’ve historically been quicker to settle than you should. Yes, we must all be willing to compromise to a certain extent – but one can only bend so far before they break. You can’t have healthy, fulfilling relationships if you aren’t able to assert yourself – whether that means being honest about something or even entirely walking away from an unhealthy bond.
PRESENT: EIGHT OF CUPS, UPRIGHT
On the subject of walking away? This is what the upright Eight of Cups symbolizes. The scales falling from the eyes, the rose-tinted glasses taken off, the decision made – FINALLY – to say goodbye.
At this moment, you must reassess your circle of trusted loved ones and ask if they all belong a) in your life and b) as close to you as you let them be. You must be unafraid to move on from the things that don’t serve you and the people that don’t make you feel safe. Letting people who don’t love you fairly and unconditionally take up space pushes out people who do – or could one day.
FUTURE: FOUR OF WANDS, UPRIGHT
The upright Four of Wands is a card of community. Of feeling at home. It tells us that if you take the time to cultivate a healthy circle of loved ones (as suggested), you’ll feel the benefits. You’ll experience a bone-deep sense of security.
They say nothing worth having ever comes easy – but we can interpret this in multiple ways! I’d argue that it doesn’t mean fighting tooth and nail to get people you love to offer you love, acceptance and compassion in return. Instead, it means fighting to build relationships and bonds with people who freely give love, acceptance and compassion. Don’t keep what doesn’t work.
Your Work
PAST: TEN OF PENTACLES, REVERSED
Your professional history is characterized by the reversed Ten of Pentacles, . I can’t say that’s good – but it’s a starting point from which we can learn. This card symbolizes instability. Momentary, unrooted successes, then failures.
In short, you’ve made many attempts and efforts that seemed, for a moment, as if they would pay off. And then they didn’t. You’ve given as much of yourself as you could at the time. And it hasn’t been enough. To see your career move in a different direction, something will need to CHANGE. You’ll need to figure out how to water and cultivate the seeds you plant.
PRESENT: DEATH, REVERSED
What keeps you in instability? According to the reversed Death card, fear of change. A desire to hold on to what you know and have done before – even as your professional life stagnates and rots.
When something isn’t working, the chance to admit as much is a privilege. It’s not a failure of character to try something new. The way to success that sticks – to seeds that blossom into beautiful, healthy plants – is a twofold combination of stamina and passion. If you don’t have passion for your work, you won’t have the stamina to keep at it. Time to find your true passion, .
FUTURE: ACE OF WANDS, UPRIGHT
In your future, the tarot sees the upright Ace of Wands – a card that symbolizes inspiration, creativity, drive and self-determination. In other words, all you could want from your career.
The way to this professional role that lights your soul fire and gets you out of bed with a smile? Embracing change. Learning to love uncertainty for the possibilities it represents. Rather than seeing opportunities to fail in each new gap you have to cross, you must do the mental work. You must not rest until you see opportunities to SUCCEED before anything else.
Your Wealth
PAST: TWO OF WANDS, UPRIGHT
Your fear of change recurs as we turn to your finances. The upright Two of Wands represents a fundamental issue with making decisions and changes. A desire to play it safe. A sense that planning too far ahead is pointless – that nothing can be counted on.
You’ve adopted this mindset after making a few monetary mistakes. Or perhaps just watching someone you love dearly make them? And I can’t tell you it isn’t understandable. Caution in financial dealings is necessary and expected. But there’s a line between caution and fear-driven self-limitation. If you never try, you never have to pick up the pieces when everything goes wrong. Right?
PRESENT: THE DEVIL, UPRIGHT
The upright Devil representing your current situation reflects the fear I’ve just mentioned. It symbolizes spending recklessly, materialism, addiction, and excess – and tells me that you are terrified of these.
You worry that if you loosen the proverbial purse strings a little, you won’t be able to control yourself. You don’t trust your judgment. That, above all else, is what needs to change. Don’t hold on to the past or the behaviors you might have unconsciously started to model from childhood. Don’t sell your own self-control short. Balance risk and reward. Invest. Spend, occasionally, to brighten your life. Stop hiding!
FUTURE: KING OF PENTACLES, UPRIGHT
The King of Pentacles (upright) speaks to financial security, abundance and significant wealth. It tells us that if you can learn to hold on less tightly, you might have more to hold on to!
Think of it like this, : If you sit at home, safe and sound, utterly alone with your money, you don’t risk losing it. But you also miss out, potentially, on countless opportunities to gain more of it! In the “Double or Nothing” game that life sometimes seems to be, you choose Nothing. And you stay exactly where you are. Unless, of course, you don’t…
That concludes your Examination.
Here’s your Tower…
YOUR TOWER OF LUNAR LOVE
As you may remember, , I said I’d do the heavy lifting to make this Tower of Lunar Love yours.
I’ve done just that.
Once you’ve printed its image and stored it somewhere safe, it will serve as a line of energetic connection between you and the Moon – sending well-deserved lunar luck right into your orbit on a likely reasonably regular basis!
I hope you enjoy it…
