You see,        , I had been sitting on my back porch at a little wooden table since sunset, studying your file. Poring over it. 

I’d been tracking your history and mapping your fate with desperate frenzy, knee-deep in my search for your best route forward.

When I sat back in defeat and turned off the porch light, I thought to myself, ever so fleetingly: I wish a great, powerful meteor shower were forecast to arrive soon. If it were, I could bring out my Meteoric Strength Deck and help         map his future.

Minutes later, the shower came. After an initial period of mesmerized joy, I rushed to get the Meteoric Strength Deck in question.
