In the next six months, here’s how you should go about finding fortune and fulfillment in each life area…

Finding Fortune and Fulfillment in Your WORK AND CAREER

While thinking of your professional sphere, you drew The Empress (reversed) and the King of Cups (upright). In this state, the Empress is a card of over-dependence and feeling somewhat smothered. In certain areas, you get too much guidance. In others, you feel totally alone. Generally speaking, the balance is off in your working life.

The King of Cups, upright, is a card of balance – how serendipitous! It represents a need for a loving combination of compassion and control. I think it tells you quite clearly that you need to establish better boundaries with superiors and peers. You might even need to transition from one area or industry into another to gain freedom from the things that suffocate you and help with the things you struggle to do.

I know you don’t enjoy conflict,        , but sometimes, a short period of argument is the best way to induce longer-term fulfillment and happiness that serves everyone well. Don’t let feelings about your career and professional responsibilities fester in the dark in the next six months. Speak up, be heard, and be surprised to see how accommodating some people will be if you allow them to.

Finding Fortune and Fulfillment with Your MONEY AND WEALTH

When you drew cards to symbolize the situation and game plan regarding your finances, you unknowingly selected the Five of Swords (upright) and the Six of Pentacles (also upright). The Five of Swords isn’t a very positive card, and since it came first, it’s clearly speaking to the state you’re in at the moment rather than what will hopefully be your final state. The Five of Swords represents a need within you to win at all costs, even if that means potentially betraying another person. 

This might not resonate with you, but the truth is that we can all do some toxically ambitious things when we’re pushed to – AND when we’re not used to having money and then suddenly do (as will soon probably be the case for you). Meanwhile, the Six of Pentacles represents charitable giving, generous behavior and prioritizing the value of sharing what you have. 

In short, the more you can give, the better you’ll feel. Hoarding wealth beyond the necessary for your comfort and enjoyment won’t bring you the fulfillment that you might fleetingly expect it to. Instead, six months down the line and after experiencing much success, the accumulation of more and more will grow ever hollower to you.

Finding Fortune and Fulfillment through Your FEELINGS AND RELATIONSHIPS

Choosing your final two cards to speak to your emotions and interpersonal bonds (familial, romantic and platonic included), you selected The Star (reversed) and the Three of Pentacles (upright). Seeing The Star, a mighty card from the Major Arcana, in a reversed form, is rare – but it’s not unheard of. And here, I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. There’s a trajectory at work, and you can follow it to proper fulfillment.

Essentially,        , The Star represents insecure, low-confidence feelings. It speaks to a general sense of discouragement with yourself and a lack of faith in your ability to achieve, communicate, or add value to your relationships. These things aren’t grounded in truth or reality, and a part of you knows that, but you’ll still need to work hard to overcome the unfair messages your brain is sending. How, you ask? By getting out of your head!

The Three of Pentacles, upright, represents working in a team, collaborating with other people, and communally building something new. It tells you that in the next six months, the best way to enhance your confidence won’t be to think endlessly about who you are and who you aren’t. Instead, you’ll need to get stuck in, start contributing, and let other people reflect your value back to you. Doing a good thing creates a good feeling, and focusing on good feelings will make you a better family member, friend and partner.
