I think you’re right. Destiny connected us in this life for a reason, and I’m sure it has something to do with how well you protect me from danger. Without you and the Idol, I wouldn’t have known about that cloud of evil and negativity until it was raining. 

Instead, I get the chance to be proactive about a threat to my sparkling potential. I get to turn to the ancient Egyptian goddess of protection, Sekhmet, for safety from the storm. 

It feels like a miracle to be offered this Idol. For it to glow so brightly and spell my name so declaratively. It makes me think: Maybe I AM as remarkable as Elissa believes.
