As I told you when I first introduced you to this Summer Romance Summary, “On the other side of your Rite, basking in the glow of your romantic reset, you may still feel in need of some additional guidance
,
Yes, you’ll have the Edicts, but you might want that certainty that you’re on the right path in the months ahead. The surety of a safeguard, so to speak. If that’s the case…
I can happily use one of my trusted, highly accurate tarot decks to give you a glimpse into some of those beautiful, pink-tinged dreams of your romantic future that I’ve already mentioned.”
Now, here we are.
You’ve taken me at my word and drawn your four cards – one for the remainder of May, one for June, one for July, and one for August. Then, I’ve interpreted them.
Here’s your Summer Romance Summary, sure to keep you on the best possible soulmate-focused path long after the energies of the Eta Aquariids have faded out of our spiritual vicinity for another year…
THE REMAINDER OF MAY: The Emperor, Upright
For the remainder of May, we find ourselves beginning the reading with the presence of The Emperor (Upright). An interesting choice, indeed, but if we dig in a little, we can soon see the logic! This card represents control, rule-setting, hierarchical systems and structures, and rigid ways of doing things. Not very romantic, right?
… I think that’s precisely the point. You are being told, loud and clear, that if you want your love life to thrive between now and the start of June, it’s time to start walking back your structures and relinquishing some of your tightly held control. It’s okay to let someone else lead, . It’s okay to let someone else IN.
The tighter you hold on to being the only one you can trust to make a good decision, the longer you’ll spend unable to reach the true romantic fulfillment that comes only from equal partnership.
JUNE: The Moon, Reversed
As we move past the need for control and let things go a little in June, your second selection reveals the next hurdle – another that I’m confident in your ability to deftly leap with a bit of thought and preparation. Card two is The Moon (Reversed). Upright, it would be a nod to intuition and the concept of “just knowing” something.
Reversed, the opposite is true. Reversed, the Moon lets you know that you are very worried, at your core, that you will be misunderstood and taken in bad faith by someone that you connect with on a soulmate level. You think opening so deeply to someone, only to be misunderstood, might kill you. And , I understand that. But please hear this…
“The One” won’t make you feel confusing or confused. With your person, there is no need to fear being improperly known. There is simply a mutual flow of unbroken understanding that grows stronger and stronger with nurturing. Have faith in that.
JULY: Temperance, Upright
You’re finding your footing as we move into the heart of summer, . The third selection in this four-card tarot draw offers Temperance (Upright) as the defining feature of your romantic life in July. In other words – balance. Finding a middle ground between two extremes.
I suspect this card was drawn to tell you that, as you settle into a better chapter in your love life – less defined by anxiety and uncertainty – you’ll find rhythms with your lover that suit both of you well. And, as you do, you’ll need to be mindful of the value of balance. There’s no need to go from 0 to 100 if you don’t want to.
Don’t feel you must spend every moment in the pocket of your soulmate – or that you should want to. It is healthy to come together and then pull apart as you choose, and it is the best way to develop and strengthen healthy communication bonds.
AUGUST: The Lovers, Upright
What a beautiful place to end up at the close of your Summary! The Lovers (Upright) is arguably the ultimate pick for a romance-focused reading, and I’m delighted – if not surprised – to see it here. Here, in sunny August, we reach the pink-tinged visions that I saw when I first wrote to offer you the Eta Aquariids Romance Rite.
The Lovers (Upright) speaks to equal partnership, true union, and two becoming one as much as they can. It’s the pinnacle, really, of what a healthy relationship should be. Both parties are making the other better, brighter and stronger – a point of power, not weakness.
For August, I have minimal advice – I just suggest that you and your lover, collectively, remain grateful for what you’ve cultivated AND continue heeding the warnings offered by the previous draws in the months above.
That concludes your Summer Romance Summary – and hopefully gives you plenty to rely on as you forge your path through the months ahead!
Once more, , I want to remind you that I am unendingly proud of you for being so willing to accept help, guidance and support where needed (and vice versa – being so willing to stand proud, alone and bold when required).
Your loving friend,
