There are moments where your annoyance might be warranted, but hard-earned spiritual wisdom reveals that there are also many moments when coolness and a calm touch would be the better course of action.

2. Sing the praises of gifts that others might choose to ignore

One spirit with whom I shared your story – a story of a person trying to find their path in this life – offered an important suggestion that applies not just during this astral energy-filled month, but year-round.

It is to appreciate that which is usually ignored or taken for granted. From the gift of life to the flowers in their beds, beauty lives in every atom of the physical world. You need only look for it to find it.

3. Watch out for a “friend” that asks for too much, too soon

You’ll do a lot of growing in the next month, connecting with energies rushing through the air. As you do, a friend will notice a change in your demeanor – this according to the collated reports of a spiritual envoy who has seen it happen a thousand times before – and they will want more.

More of your money as it increases, more of your energy as it increases – more of anything they can get. Set boundaries, and don’t get too sucked in.

4. Be mindful of the unsaid in your romantic encounters

The biggest mistake you could make in November would be to forget the value and importance of the unspoken sentences.

To forget, in your busy and transforming life, that what goes unsaid can matter as dearly as what is screamed from the rooftops. Pay attention, encourage communication, and look out for subtleties that might indicate an unsaid issue or concern in need of resolution.

5. Listen to your heart when it tells you where to go

The heart is your strongest compass, and not just in matters of romance. In professional, financial and emotional matters, it also points true. When your heart says it’s time for a career change, or a holiday, or a moment of peace and quiet, try to listen.

Try to harmonize with your instincts rather than running from them when they cause you worry or fear.

Here are your Compass Meditation Session instructions:

1. Sit down cross-legged on the floor with an empty stretch of space ahead of you. Place a large pillar candle and your All Saints’ Compass side by side in this space and light the candle.
2. Ensure that no artificial light is permeating the scene, and that the room is lit by moonlight and candlelight alone.
3. Close your eyes, place your palms against your crossed legs and sit up with as straight a back as you can.
4. Let your mind wander and calm for a minute, settling into the situation. Then, while slowing your breathing at a steady and peaceful rate, start to think about the problem/issue/dilemma that has brought you to this Session.
5. Don’t search for answers – just think it all out. Talk through the situation from beginning to end in your mind, breathing in and holding onto your focus. Don’t move your palms, and don’t fold into yourself.
6. When you feel you’ve considered every aspect of the issue, bring your palms slowly up your body, always remaining in contact, and press both against your heart.
7. Breathe deeply in, pushing your palms into your chest, and then breathe deeply out, pulling them away.
8. Repeat this until the moment that you sense it’s time to still. It will come, even if it takes longer than you expect.
9. Without speaking to anyone else, blow out the pillar candle and head to bed. Place the All Saints’ Compass beneath your pillow and fall asleep. Wake to answers.

All it takes is a bit of astral magic, the right mental state and the chance to sleep on things. This Session gives you all of that.
